Very solid. The handle is like a lead pipe and the head is as thick as the laptop you’re using to read this review. Without a doubt, the Crash Axe will last a few lifetimes.... but, if you’re looking for something to throw like I was, this is not the axe for you. The head is way too thick to stick. It’s like trying to tomahawk your target with the laptop you’re using. I would still hate to get hit with it though. All in all, you can’t help but to appreciate it once you get it in your hands... You’ll also appreciate having a wet stone nearby when you realize the guy who sharpened it was most likely nodded off on some kind of narcotics.
