Review: kids camp bunk beds - UPDATE BELOW: We purchased these for our grandsons visit (5 and 8) - they are terrific. Fairly easy to put together - no tools necessary as they snap together with pop in nibs - would be easier with two people - but I managed to put them together by myself (I'm 58 and not super athletic). Once together, they feel very sturdy. They are the perfect size for our little guys and will be for several years. They have wonderful cloth bags with zippers and elastic bands to secure the pipes and pieces securely. The bags have heavy duty handles. They are fairly heavy - but the bags and handles make it easier to lift and move them. We chose the turquoise - very nice and true turquoise. The side organizers are just wonderful and I think the boys are going to love those too - they will hold the tablets, books, a small night light and other things nicely. I honestly think these are one of our best investments in a while. Having said all of that.. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. UPDATE: 7/3/2019.... I continue to LOVE these bunks. I just disassembled the bunk setup - for the first time. I had taken a picture of the pieces in the cases to help me. Took me less than 20 minutes! By myself. It was so easy. And the zippered canvas case/bags are the bomb. So So So easy to store. I am super impressed. The boys, 5 and 8, loved them. They were very comfortable and loved the side organizer attachable strips. These are a bit spendy. But I can see how we can use these for several years. The quality is top notch. I am just really happy with our purchase.
Review: Fits perfect in small spaces - Perfect size for small bedroom. We are staying at family's for a long time and it is so much better my 2 kids having their own bed instead of sharing an air mattress. They even have enough room for all their plushies. My kids are 3-6 . So far nobody's rolled off. I do wish is had a clip-on rail for the bunk. Kids have been comfortable sleeping on it. It was easy to put together. Feels very sterdy and good quality . Some pieces that connected felt tight. The paint has already chipped where is touches the ground. Hope that doesn't become an issue. We plan to try it out when we go camping too. Almost bought an adult size one but that would be way too long. Im 5'3 and fit in it.

**Q: Is it possible to stack them 3 or 4 high?**
A: I don’t think so.  They could shift easily if they were stacked higher than reccomeded. I wouldn’t ever suggest it.

**Q: Any way i can buy the strap that holds the beds when in a bunks? my dog chewed up one of the straps.**
A: I think you can through LLbean if I remember right

**Q: Are there leg extenders available for the kids size yet? I see the extenders for the full size, but I need extenders for the kid size.**
A: Mine came with extenders.

**Q: Do you sell a thin mats to lay on the cots?**
A: It does not come with mats to lay on it. I actually purchased 2 mats separately but they didn't fit very good so i ended up not even using them

Very stabile, easy to store and travel with. Thought they were priced higher than I wanted to pay but after getting them they were worth the cost. We used them three or four times a month.
