Review: Fire Red review - This game is great, I left pokemon a year ago, came back, all Pokemon games rock,. One thing about fire red and it's counter part leaf green, is that it does lack what the other pokemon games do have is a post story, a guided adventure after you beat the pokemon league, it does have the seven islands, but that is not quite as much activitey to it, the other one's have this "post story advanture" a little if not wildly better, this is still a great game to buy! It is upsetting that to have pokemon lay eggs you must go to the 4th island, witch is blocked off until the main story is complete, in all other regions of pokemon games you have that ability as soon as you reach the first few towns. It does draw out the fun though to a longer time period, One mor sad thing about this series it that the company that make pokemon games make sure to completley filll your pok'e dex(an in game thing) you must have many games, in fact if you have no pokemon buddies you need the following to do that: A copy of pokemon Firered, leafgreen, and Emrald, plus 2 game boys, can be sp', micros, or gameboy advanced's or any combo, plus a link cable, or two wirless adapters, but this is a great series, as for the games do as the pokemon slogan tells you. GOTTA COLLECT EM ALL! I highly suggest you buy this game!, And the whole series!
Review: Fake Cartridge - Just a notice to anyone thinking of buying from this person (though it's doubtful since they've been inactive for a long time) that I've had a personal experience with their fake cartridges and it seems I'm not the only one! I hope everyone is able to look at this review and learn to see the signs because this was very distressing to me, though I didn't come to understand the situation until just now. At first everything seemed fine; the price wasn't bad, condition was good, and the delivery was speedy! I popped the cart in as soon as I received it and began playing, stopping somewhere around the first gym and saving. It played perfectly, there was nothing suspicious -- until I left it alone for a few days. When I picked it back up and tried to resume my file, it gave me a message that the data had been corrupted but it would be able to retrieve my last save anyway. I was so relieved and at the time I wasn't suspicious at all! I didn't get much farther, though, and after playing a little more I let it sit for a couple years, until tonight. When I picked it back up, it was in the hopes of transferring some of the Pokemon to a newer game. I had just found out about that option and felt like I'd have an easier time with it if I did so. This time when I turned the game on, it told me the save file had been deleted. Now, I still figured this was my fault. I didn't handle the game properly afterward; it sat in a dusty drawer all this time. I didn't remember deleting it, though. I wouldn't have done so intentionally when I had a good line up of Pokemon that I distinctly recalled. Either way, I resigned myself to that fate and tried to at least get the starters into my copy of Soul Silver for the night, just hoping it would manage to save and keep it. I wound up playing for about an hour and a half. When I was getting ready to go to sleep I decided to finally do the exchange but my copy of Soul Silver wasn't registering the cartridge. I tried to reload my save and was met with the same message as the first time -- the save had been corrupted, but it still loaded from my previous save. Again, I blamed myself and sighed, saving one more time as soon as it let me so I could keep trying. It still didn't register, so I went back to Fire Red. This time it told me it had been deleted. Suffice to say, I was very frustrated. I started searching for reasons why the cartridge might be doing this. At first I found innocent reasons like I had thought; damaged cart, dirty circuit board, things like that. It made sense, until someone on a forum mentioned that some fake cartridges produced these exact same messages. I felt like I hit the nail on the head, but how could my cartridge be fake? It looked completely authentic to me. I couldn't have been more wrong about that. My search lead me to several guides on how to spot fake cartridges. Practically all of their hints lined up with my own. Not only was the case of the pak incorrect for the game, but the label itself was too. The Nintendo Seal of Approval is in a completely random place, the model number's wrong, the label itself is incorrect, it doesn't have a special product number hidden in the label, and it even says "Licensed by Nintendo" when it should merely have the Nintendo logo. Looking at other customer reviews, I can see this was no simple accident. This wasn't the first fake cartridge they sold and they left the others they gave them to hanging with no refunds or communication. GBAtopGames is a scam and I advise that no one else attempt purchasing from them -- if they ever come back, that is. Their sudden and lengthy disappearance is suspicious enough to me. They were getting negative reviews and wanted to cut and run with what they had. I contacted the seller but there's very little hope of any reply. I'm not even worried about a refund at this point, I just want to make sure other people don't fall into the same situation as I have! Shop carefully and read ALL of the user reviews on popular games like this! If even one of them mentions a fake cartridge, it would be best if you did not purchase from them at all!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: how do i know im buying the authentic game before purchase**
A: Before purchase is hard. Most people will say it's real, but send a fake copy. Be sure to read the feedback comments, they will let you know if it's fake!

**Q: Is this an English version of the game**
A: It's most likely the English version of the game, I'm not sure why Amazon has it listed with that cover art, probably from the first sellerwho sold a European copy, then other sellers who decided to pass off legit European copies with bootlegs and then English bootlegs and so forth.Ask the seller if its English and Authentic. Be vigilant.

**Q: can used game save or not ?**
A: game is new

**Q: Is the game legit**
A: Yes, the game is legit. It's a pretty good remake, but I still prefer the original blue and red versions.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Authentic Cartridge
*by A***R on March 15, 2022*

Thank you to DKOldies for delivering an AUTHENTIC copy of Poke’mon Fire Red. I can verify it’s authenticity with the hidden numbers on the sticker, and the Nintendo code on the circuit board itself. The cartridge came packaged very well, and the game works on my NDS Lite. I can now play Fire Red for the first time in forever, and it’s a huge bonus to have the authentic game. I really wanted to write this review to let people know that DKOldies is a legitimate company that delivers what it advertises. I will definitely order from them in the future if they carry another game I want.
