Such a game-changer! This rug was $150 less on Amazon than on the company website. It is beautifully colored. I read a review that complained that it was basically a "laser printed mat". I disagree. Yeah, it is "printed" however it still has a soft velvety feel and my guests said they didn't even notice that it wasn't a "yarn" type of rug.It is a pain to assemble, need two people for the 8x10 size because the minute the rug touches the velcro mat it sticks - and 8x10 is a lot of rug to be shaking and smoothing alone. The other criticism is that the stitching on the ends seems fragile - the yarn binding on the edges has already gotten fuzzy from people's shoes brushing against it and my vacuum rolling over the edges. But boy is it worth it!!!The first week I had to wash it because someone spilled red-wine and my dog peed on it. No way did I think it was going to fit in my standard washing machine. But, by the time I gathered it up, I was able to carry it in one arm and it was no bigger than a full-sized comforter. Washed BEAUTIFULLY - OMG SO EXCITED. Germs be gone!! I will be replacing all of my rugs with this brand.

I laid the rug out with the help of my spouse, easy! But immediately I was disappointed that the details of the rug are digitally stretched. The length of the boarder has designs that are tall and skinny, while the same design on the width of the boarder are wide and squatty. Example, the blue emblem on the top of the boarder measures Length 5 1/2 in x Width 5 in; along the side of the boarder, the same emblem measures Length 7 1/2 in x Width 3 in. I've allowed myself a week to get used to the image printed on this rug, but Ive come to resent the person who approved this design to be mass produced. I feel that its as obvious as a picture on the wall handing crooked--throws off the feel of the room. This design needs to be fixed, and I hope RUGGABLE will offer the new cover with the design print corrected.I have not needed to wash the rug yet, so I can not review that aspect.

I have not needed to wash this rug yet (my dogs only like to mess on rugs you can't wash, apparently), but I did want to comment on the rug's appearance, as this was something in reviews that made me nervous when I wanted to buy the rug. This rug is very nice looking, and I do have real Persian rugs and come from a Persian family. The print job is very deceptive and along with the texture under your feet it really tricks you into believing it is more than just a printed rug. Obviously when you closely inspect it, it is by no means an oriental rug, but nobody has called me out on it as it is just our casual living room rug where we hang with the dogs. We've gotten unprompted compliments from friends and rug-savvy Persian family members.It has been easy to vacuum, and sticks very tightly to the velcro underneath, just some caution on the edges where there isn't as much reinforcement. Dog hair is moderately apparent on the darker blue sections, but it is not a hair magnet. The colors and patterns appear as advertised (mine is blue/red 8x10), and it has a slightly distressed appearance. It really adds a ton of warmth to the decor, and I'd recommend it to others.

Laser printed, looks cheap. Not what I thought. Received someone else’s return, which I then had to return. Flimsy. Wanted to love this. Good concept, too bad!

Love this rug. The pattern is printed and I agree the colors are brighter than the photos but from a distance you really can’t tell it’s not woven. It’s an acceptable trade off given my situation. I have two old dogs and having a washable 8x10 rug for my living room is much needed.

I purchased this in the red version after I read all the reviews...I’m cracking up at the folks who were upset that the pattern was “digitally stretched”...really??? It’s a printed rug that is supposed to help pet owners keep their house more tidy without totally sacrificing aesthetics. If you are that picky then just buy an expensive wool rug and pay a fortune to have it cleaned! I have two basset hounds and was delighted to find something I could easily wash, was soft underfoot, and married well with my mid century style. I was tired of spending hundreds on rugs only to throw them away after being spoiled or stained by my pets. This met all of my expectations. Colors are soft, vintage-y, with consistent coloring. The texture and liner gives it just enough cushion and it’s made from recycled materials. Perfect. Of course I’d rather have a real oriental, but one must be pragmatic...and this is a good compromise.

We're happy with this rug for the price. Again, I found the colouring a bit off between the rug and the pictures online. The background is more obviously blue on the actual rug, but I still like it.

I love this rug! It was delivered as expected. The colour is not as saturated as it appears but is still a nice pattern and very durable and has a nice feel. Easy to unpack and lay out. I would lay out the underpad part first, roll the rug top up on its own and then lay it out on top of the underpad.
