Review: Effective Flea Shampoo for Quick Relief - I used this shampoo when my dogs needed extra help with fleas, and it worked well as part of our flea treatment routine. It lathers nicely and spreads easily through the coat, making bath time fairly straightforward. After washing, I noticed a significant reduction in fleas, and my pets seemed much more comfortable. The shampoo rinses out easily and left their coats feeling clean and soft without drying out their skin. The 24 oz bottle lasts a while, especially if you have multiple pets. I also appreciate that it can be used for both dogs and cats, which makes it convenient for multi-pet households. The scent is clean and somewhat medicinal, not a strong perfume fragrance. The shampoo is typically a golden-yellow to amber color. Review: Good flea & tick shampoo/,smells nice - I have always loved the Adam's Flea and tick shampoo. I recommend getting the creamy one. It doesn't seem to irritate my dog's skin. It seems to be very effective. She is flea and tick free. Thank god! It's really easy to use. You can either fill a bucket with water and put some in there or apply directly on the skin. And suds them up real well. It is pricey, of course, if you buy it in the big gallon size, it's a better deal. But it works, it smells good, and it's worth it ## Features - EFFECTIVE FLEA AND TICK TREATMENT: This flea and tick shampoo for dogs and cats kills fleas, flea eggs, ticks and lice on contact - SOFT, SHINY AND CLEAN: Rich, creamy flea shampoo for dogs and cats washes and conditions your pet's coat, leaving it soft, shiny and easy to manage; Light scent helps your pet smell fresh; Great for all dogs and cats 12 weeks and older - CONTINUOUS PROTECTION: This cat and dog flea shampoo stops the flea life cycle and keeps flea eggs from hatching for 28 days - A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY: ADAMS Plus cat and dog flea and tick treatment with Precor IGR is formulated to help with grooming; You only need to use about 4 teaspoons for every 5 lbs of pet's weight - 50 YEARS OF RESULTS: Since 1975, the people who bring you ADAMS have helped owners confidently care for their pets; complete your flea and tick control system with ADAMS pet, home and yard products like our cat flea shampoo ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07MY4DWBN | | Active Ingredients | coconut extract | | Age Range Description | All Life Stages | | Allergen Information | Yam Free | | Best Sellers Rank | #429 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #1 in Dog Flea Control Shampoos | | Brand | ADAMS | | Brand Name | ADAMS | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 6,626 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00039079002844 | | Included Components | 1 bottle | | Item Form | Liquid | | Item Type Name | Adams Plus Flea & Tick Shampoo | | Item Volume | 24 fluid ounces | | Item Weight | 1.6 pounds | | Manufacturer | Central Garden & Pet | | Manufacturer Part Number | 100536725 | | Model Number | 100536725 | | Pet Type | Dog | | Scent | Light Fresh | | Scent Name | Light Fresh | | Target Species | Dog | | UPC | 039079002844 | | Unit Count | 24 Fluid Ounces | | Volume | 24 fluid ounces | | Warranty Description | Satisfaction guaranteed. The bottle says it kills fleas, ticks, lice and "flea eggs"...there isn't too much out there that kills the flea eggs. I don't want to sound like an advertisement for this company but this is the best shampoo I have ever used. I volunteer at several animal shelters, train dogs professionally and have six dogs of my own. I love the way my dogs smell after using this, the clean way the feel. Their fur is very soft after using this. I have two dogs that get very itchy. This helps with that. The down side is the last time I bought a bottle from pet smart it cost almost $20. I think that was a 12 oz bottle. When I found a gallon of this on here for a little over $50, I bought it as fast as I could. Also one thing else, after I wash them in this, they seem to stay cleaner longer then when I use other shampoos. I hope I helped you. God Bless. **Q: Does this shampoo have a shelf life?** A: I've had this shampoo for a long time- my dog is small so I don't use too much at a time- it's a great shampoo! **Q: Do I have to wear gloves when shampooing the cat with this?** A: No. In the more than 15 years I have used this shampoo for our dogs I never wore gloves. I did, however, wash my hands thoroughly afterwards. If you have super sensitive skin though perhaps wearing gloves is probably wise. I hope this answered your question. **Q: Will it burn or harm a dog with scratches or bites from itching (torn skin)?** A: No. I do dog rescue and use it on dogs on bad shape. Mange, scabies, bites and open areas of skin. It has not hurt one yet and been using it for months. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Effective Flea Shampoo for Quick Relief *by J***E on October 19, 2026* I used this shampoo when my dogs needed extra help with fleas, and it worked well as part of our flea treatment routine.
