Pendelton Turf Supply 18-3-6 Liquid Fertilizer (50% SRN & Micronutrients) (2.5 Gallons)

The before and after photos say it all! We have 3 dogs that create dead spots and very rocky clay soil. Last year we spent thousands of dollars hiring a service to come out and needless to say we were disappointed. We decided to fire them this year and try doing it ourselves. This was just one application photos taken 30 days apart. No seeding, just this fertilizer. The grass is greener than it’s ever been, thicker and plush! I regularly go out barefoot just to feel how amazing the grass feels - springy and thick like carpet. The dead spots are filling in and we will probably seed a bit to help it fill in a couple spots. We are thrilled with this product and will definitely be purchasing it again, much more affordable than the service we were using!

I live in a neighborhood where everyone has a large yard (1 acre lots). And most people have a lawn spraying service come out and keep things green. Being the cheapskate that I am, I opted to buy a lawn sprayer for my ATV and do it myself. But what made my neighbors jelly ... my yard was the greenest and healthiest on the block. And that was because of this wonder juice. Easy to mix up and apply, even on my giant lawn. One bottle lasted the whole year, with 3 applications. One thing I learned though, if you mix it up, use it. If it sits in the sprayer too long, it loses its potency.

First purchased a quart and used for 3 applications, hoping to get a 2 year lifespan form the gallon. I use a simple hose end sprayer on St Augustine grass, takes 15 -20 minutes per application. This, some weed killer, and a fungicide when needed, replaced a paid service which cost 5x as much and didn't work as well.

Been using this for probably a little over a month now. Value-wise I thought it could be great, but I honestly wasn't overly-impressed, for a few reasons.First, as at least one other reviewer mentioned, I did end up using substantially more oz/1k than recommended by the manufacturer. I was closer to 8-10 oz /1k to see noticeable results, instead of the suggested 3.Second, this doesn't seem to be a long-lasting fert. I'll notice about a week or two after peak deep green color fading begin, and I'll have to re-apply.Both of these issues add up to me using substantially more of this product than I would other, potentially more expensive, fertilizers. So in the long run it isn't that great of a choice for me. I might consider keeping a bottle around for a quick pop of color when I want it (which this can achieve), but other than that I don't see myself using it a whole lot.

I used this fertilizer close at max dose and more often than the directions along with a broad leaf weed killer twice at the end of the season last year. I had a couple of my neighbors ask what I did. Lawn looked great at the end of last year. 4 stars because I used the max dose more often than recommended to achieve advertised results.I just did the first application for spring...will update this review as time goes on. Noticed much thicker lawn and many less weeds compared to last spring.

Great product, sprayed on the grass and you could see it get darker green in about a week. Will be buying more soon.
