Phil Collins: Greatest Hits

This is a set that everyone should own. First you get good product as it's not two CDs of forty minutes, but two complete CDs up to the limit of the CD capacity full of songs that put you in them. There is no way one can sit still while listening to this set. You don't have to be a player to be in the music echoing the drums, doing the background, or singing along. This is Phil Collins at his best and one doesn't have to be a Phil Collins fan to enjoy the music. It just "moves" you. The songs are powerful, yet soft, and each one filled with feeling and meaning, not just music. I could list many of the titles and comment about specific songs on the track, but that's something you should do while you're ordering your copy. Put it in the stereo, in the car, turn it up, and you're in the zone as part of the band and part of the music. Heck, by two, one for a best friend. It's worth it. This is the full package of Phil's hits. Single disc package released in the US is missing numerous good ones (as other's have already stated). If you're a fan and want the most comprehensive package currently (still?) available then this is the one to get. I suppose it is conceivable that a box set may one day show up as a US issue, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Even if it does it may be too much of a good thing for the average fan of the man's most notable tracks. Quality is excellent, which suggests the tracks are all taken from the original masters.

I received this CD in a timely manner and in like new condition. It's a double disk CD, with every hit song from Phil that I can think of, and then some. It is an import, but plays and Sounds exceptional. It isn't cheap but I think it's well worth the money. If you like Phil Collins, I think you'll love this disk. It copied right over to iTunes with no problem. Enjoy.....

This is a cool collection of hits and album tracks from a talented singer and drummer. Sad to think that he's living these days off of his many royalties, etc. instead of continuing to make new music for his fans to experience, but that's his choice, I guess.He's earned it, right?Do yourselves a favor then and get this collection ... It's worthy of having next to your other PC titles, truth be told.Highly recommended.

i love this cd love all song on here.this great two cd .i love the old genesis and when phil took over when peter g left the band.both peter and phil sing great song togather or when not togather.phil play drummers on peter cd that why some music sound great pg cd.and always sound great when he sing never ever sing bad song yet.it to bad does sing any more retired all ready.will miss see him on tour.

Brings me back to the 80s and my college days. Now my 21 year old son loves it for its shear musicianship. I think most young people today are realizing that today's music is crap. My kids hear 70s and 80s music on The Simpsons, CSI, and Guitar Hero and love it. I don't say anything, I just sit back and smile.

I've been listening to this CD for many years now as it is popular in restaurants, stores, etc., but it was never available in the stores selling music when I wanted to purchase it. So I ordered it from your organization and am delighted that I finally own it. It really is great music and I would recommend it to everyone.

When artist of today..sample your tracks..when your voice ruled on Mami Vice..when nothing but stellar songs,amazing.videos come from your camp...all your fans can say.is..WOW!
