The VA have me hearing aids...they quit working after a week.then I bought a three grand pair from a rip off audiologist centre. They lasted one year.I have had these for two years NOW working great! I have recently bought a pair for a relative.if you are contemplating buying rip off hearing aids from an audiologist. .DON'T! !!BUY THESE INSTEAD! !!

Was a waste of money.

The only thing it amplifies IS the background noise. It raises it as to overpower the things I want to hear. Was worth a try.Shipping was fast.

This product is disposable like all things made in China. It didn’t even last a year. Save your money.

This device worked OK for a Month and one week and than died. $ 59.00 for one week is too steep price. Sent a message to manufacturer, so far no answer.

I've used the over the ear hearing aids, but I HATE the way they flop around if I don't have on my glasses!! Even sometimes with them on it happens!!This though NO ISSUES with!! My ear canal is very small so I was worried it'd HURT me, but I started off as another reviewer suggested, an hour a day, gradually build it up. NO ISSUES! Plus it stays in very securely.Hate the whistling noise? Easy try a different size plug. There should not be any whistling noise other than when putting it in, that's normal. The background to loud? Easy!! Reach behind your ear, and use your finger nail and simply adjust it. I do this often whereas I am in various environments within a very short period of time. Takes less than 5 seconds to do. No need to take it out and use the "tool" that comes with it.I can now sit in the backseat of a car and hear EVERY SINGLE word!! AMAZING!! I was born hard of hearing (more so higher pitches) and as the headlines says, I am here buying one for my left ear!! My right ear is much worse than my left so that's saying something!! I'd not be buying this one, except I have a friend who barely uses any voice when she speaks and she gets MAD at the rest of us if we can't hear her!! Only children can.

It does not have all of the fancy and unneeded features of expensive hearing aids, but it does help you hear better in a variety of situations. This is a remarkable little hearing aid. It is so light that you quickly forget it is in your ear. I is very simple to operate with the volume control.

It would be worth an extra $50 to have a volume and a tone control. Otherwise, this is the best inexpensive hearing amplifier I've found.
