Here are two jam-packed CDs with carefully chosen and intertwined electronica sounds. There's no over-long warm up period, no fiddling about with rest bits in the middle - it just starts at the top and sustains itself to the very end. Lima brings fresh life back to the GU series that has suffered enormous setbacks by some incredibly bland and silly releases from lesser known DJs. Warren has really made this series his own. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Wonderful Lift *by J***T on 10 November 2009* Nick Warren made these cds with love and I loved them. He deserves an award for lifting the GU label. The minimal sound is ok in small doses but long term, its boring and a dead end. So when I purchased Lima the sunshine flooded through my mind with relief as I listened again to my favourite sounds of progressive house. This music is alive. Cd1 is good and cd2 even better. The genre of prog house has generosity in comparison to minimal which is tight. With carefully selected tracks that are well mixed NW has inflected these cds with an even paced, lifted sound all the way through both cds. I have played them a few times and their tireless format guarantees I will enjoy listening to them again for some time.
