## Description

Equipped with three M. 2 NVMe ports and four SFF-8643 Connectors, the SSD7110 can host blazing fast M. 2 NVMe RAID storage and up to 16 SAS or SATA hard drives for high-density configurations. Dedicated PCIe 3. 0 x16 Performance: Unlike conventional NVMe solutions, the SSD7110 features dedicated PCIe 3. 0 x16 bus bandwidth, which allows each SSD to interface directly with the platform's CPU, unlocking the true potential of NVMe storage. Independent NVMe SSD Solution: The SSD7110 unique controller architecture allows it to be easily integrated into any platform with a dedicated PCIe 3. 0 x16 slot, and is ideal for Rackmount Storage applications such as Rendering Servers or local Storage Servers that require high speed data processing and mass storage capability in a single solution prehensive NVMe Booting Solution: The SSD7110 can support a variety of NVMe-based boot configurations. Customers can configure up to three M. 2 SSD's to act as individual drives (single/JBOD), and setup each to function as a separate boot volume. In addition, customers can configure two types of bootable RAID arrays; RAID 0 for maximum performance, or RAID 1 for security. TRIM, S. M. A. R. T. Monitoring & TBW Tracking: NVMe Manager features TRIM support, and S. M. A. R. T. monitoring with total Terabyte Written (TBW) tracking. TRIM support promotes the longevity and endurance of NVMe storage by enabling each SSD to handle garbage collection more efficiently, which helps eliminate write speed degradation. S. M. A. R. T monitoring allows you to check a variety of physical attributes of each NVMe M. 2 SSD, including temperature readings, voltage and TBW. Integrated 16-Drive SAS/SATA RAID Storage Solution: In addition to the three 2280 M. 2 NVMe ports, each SSD7110A RAID Controller features four SFF-8643 connectors, each of which can support up to 16 SAS/SATA Enterprise or RAID class hard drives, and up to 224TB of storage capacity, in one or more RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 1/0, 50 & JBOD RAID configurations.

    Way Too OverPriced, Even for Production Uses.

Let me start off by saying that I like these types of cards. They do serve a purpose. But this card is way too overpriced. I can LITERALLY build a fully functioning PC with ALL the specs of this card! Seriously! Look:Case: Fractal Design G Focus - $75 dollars (Amazon, N--Egg)Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus x470 Gaming Ultra - $110 dollars (Amazon, N--Egg)CPU: Ryzen 7 2700 - $210 dollars (Anywhere)CPU Cooler: Included with Ryzen 7 2700 - FreeRAM: 4 x 4GB GSKILL DDR4 3000 Sticks - $90 dollars (Anywhere)Power Supply: Rosewill Hive 750Watt MODULAR power supply - $65 dollars (Anywhere)Add In HBA Cards (To get 16 internal ports) LSI 9300-8i x2 cards - $100 each (used) x 2 = $200 dollars (Ebay)Total: $755 DOLLARS!!!  This leaves money to spare and you still have the capability to RAID0 or RAID1 the 2 onboard M.2 slots on the Gigabyte motherboard.There is ZERO need to buy this card until the price drops to acceptable levels. The ONLY people who should maybe buy this is for strict business use and it might be somehow cheaper to spend the $850 + $50 tax on this card instead of upgrading the business or production PC. The thing is, for you to utilize this card, you already have a motherboard with at least one PCI Express 3.0 x 16 slot. So your motherboard is fairly recent, last 5 years or so. In this case, its better to go with something much cheaper.This card can be great only at a cheaper price. Sure as hell not at $900.
