Finally got to try one and I was sold after 10 minutes on the water. When Dave said he was going to sell his 2009, I bought it right off his feet. Rode it a couple of more times, then saw a new one on Amazon for a killer price so I grabbed it. Same board just brand new. Sold the used one for what I paid for it. Rode it last weekend in 20 to 30 mph and waist high swell and had a blast. I was a diehard Jimmy Lewis fan till I tried the Mako. Great for the choppy / wavy conditions that we have in my area. The 140 is a good all round size.
