**Q: Is the input for 220 volts also?**
A: I would guess the answer is NO... Samsung has an 800 number ... you should call them for an accurate answer  ... I called them with other questions about my SDE 3004N 4 DVR.  They are pretty helpful.   William Moran

**Q: To watch from outside the intranet, does it use ddns? Do i need to configure port forwarding?**
A: Yes you do need to do port forwarding with your router.  I have not been able to get it to work with either my Samsung Galaxy 3 or 4 phone  but only because I need help with the port forwarding part of it. I have it all set up to do but need the computer geek to check before I do it!  The system itself is very good, cameras are so much better than our old ones and I called into Samsung support and they ëntered" my system remotely and checked everything for me.  We're very satisfied.

**Q: IS THIS A WIRELESS SYSTEM?**
A: no.  It is not wireless.

**Q: I have an older samsung 4 channel system if i buy a new system will my wiring i have plug into it without running new cable**
A: Depends on the system you buy.  If it has the same connections then yeah you will be fine,  you won't need to replace wiring. I swap stuff out and everything has always worked
