Review: Buy it - The campaign is great as usual. It comes in at around 6-8 hours or so depending on the difficulty you choose. There are lots of fun things to do in the campaign. Pacing is also much better in this compared to the previous few CoDs. However, multiplayer is where this game really shines. I put in over 225 hours in MW3 multiplayer, 100 in Black Ops 1, and 55 in Black Ops 2. Obviously MW3 has been my favorite CoD so far. Ghosts is more like MW3 than any other and so I'm sure I will put many hours into it. There are the cheaters you have to deal with who, frankly, I think they all should roast in hell. However, even with the scumbag hacks you can still have fun. Just don't expect a great k/d if you're a straight shooter. There are some new multiplayer modes that are fun. One of them is called "Cranked." In this mode, after a kill you're player movement increases and you get 30 seconds to get another kill or you will explode. My only criticism of the multiplayer is the unlock system. I really wish they would have kept it like MW3, where ranking up unlocks guns and perks and using guns unlocks attachments. This way you get a sense of achievement by ranking up and using one particular gun for a length of time. In Ghosts, you get experience points by shooting enemies, capturing objectives, or various other tasks. You use these points to buy weapons, attachments, perks, etc. You can buy any of them from the beginning, which I think takes away from the sense of achievement from earning them. This is just a small beef I have with the game. Maybe I will learn to like it. Anyway, I definitely recommend it. P.S. Take the 1 star reviews with a grain of salt. Most 1 star reviews are from a very vocal 5% of people who are probably Battlefield players or hate CoD for it's success, whereas the 95% of us are happy with the game and don't always write reviews. If the game was so terrible, why would it be the best selling video game franchise of all time?
Review: Don't waste your money - Yes, we've all learned to set our expectations low after Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops 2. Despite that, CoD Ghosts still manages to disappoint. The pros: 1) As usual with CoD, the basic game mechanics (e.g. shooting, movement) just work right and this shouldn't be discounted, especially when so many other games fail in this area. The game froze a couple of times in the first week, but I think it's a good first week success rate, especially compared to another modern day shooter that was just released. 2) Quick scoping, the dumbest feature to plague past CoD games, is finally gone. I hear that it's not impossible, but it's weakened to the point that I haven't seen anyone using it. The cons: 1) The maps are stupidly large for 12 person games. This makes it way too convenient for camping. 2) The spawn system is broken. Despite the large maps, I still find myself spawning right next to enemies. 3) It's just not that much fun. I know it sounds like a terribly subjective thing to put on a review, but I don't know how else to say it. It's probably the disappointment of playing this game and wondering why they can't just reproduce the immense fun of earlier CoD games. So I think it's a legitimate criteria that compared to older games this is less fun, so why waste the money. I already did, but I'm definitely not buying the premium package.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good game, some issues that appear to be resolved at this point. Gameplay is as I expected.

After all of the negative reviews, I felt I needed to state my opinion. First off, here are my specs and how it is playing. 8 core FX 8350 CPU ASROCK 970 Extreme 4 Motherboard 16 gb DDR3 HD 6850 Video Card (Not very high end) 60-91 FPS using FRAPS At first I had issues with crashes... was beginning to upset me. However there is a new Beta 13.250.18.0 driver that appears to make all the difference. I am still working on ramping up my graphics, but currently getting 60-91 FPS, no lag or stutter, and the online play does not have a huge lag as has been reported. I haven't even bothered adding my second video card to it, as I see no issues currently. As for the game, the single player doesn't really surprise and grip like most of it's predecessors, but is enjoyable non the less. As for realistic, come on, it's a video game. Multiplayer is good, although I admit on the jungle maps, camping is too easy as they are very well hidden in the brush, but that is only a few maps. I am not a fan boy, as I play both Battle Field and COD series, and enjoy them both. I have also played both from the very beginning along with the HL series. Is it the best ever, no. Does it have some issues that need to be resolved, yes. It was a bit rushed, and I feel that PC players are being let down and overlooked. I like consoles alright, but nothing beats a PC experience with the right equipment. I do suggest picking it up, but you may have to tinker a bit (and have a decent computer) in order to enjoy it fully.
