These are top quality, made in Germany. Review: Good, strong camera split rings - These are great split rings for an older camera or a camera with rounded/circular strap lugs (e.g. Fuji X100 or any Leica M). I'm using these as an attachment post for a LumaLabs Cinch strap and it works great. It doesn't bunch up the nylon strap and keeps the camera strap nice and even over my shoulder and neck. You can probably find cheaper split rings, but you are paying for the size and the strength. The split rings are quite small (12mm or just under 1/2 inch) go almost a full 360, so it is very unlikely that it will it will fall out of the lug. It is also quite strong, held up a M body and a 50mm 1.5 lens very easily. The X100 is even smaller, so not a problem. I haven't tested it with heavier loads, so I'm not sure how it will hold onto a Canon 1D body with a Canon 70-200 L f/2.8 II lens on it. You do get 4 of them, so if you really want to reinforce a camera strap, put 2 split rings on each lug and then loop the strap through it. Tough little rings will support most enthusiast cameras such as Sony RX10-III.. I think they would pass muster on even the bigger full size 35mm format cameras, but I haven't attempted to take one to the point of failure. The Sony Hx90v requires a ring like this in order to have something to attach a clip to (unless you have the leather case for it). The tiny attach point is inset a bit.
