Thanks** A: Hi, I use a clear/white machine oil, bought Zoom Spout Oil here on Amazon, it's actually a sewing machine oil, but any light machine oil will do. Not mineral oil. To be clear, it's not the blade that gets oiled, it's the track it raises and lowers on at each end of blade. I've been oiling it after regular use whether the heating element was turned on or not. Careful to use a small amount each time, excess would collect in bottom of case are hard to access to clean up. A light gease would be ideal instead of oil but I haven't sourced one yet, not automotive grease a bit more refined. **Q: Can this cut 4" width? 95mm is 3.75" so just under. I need to know if a full 4" wide velcro will run through for cutting.** A: I think this machine can't cut 4'' width, but we could help you replace other blade head that can cut 4" width.
