I do occasionally miss dishes such as omelets and French toast. I bought this because I'm looking for the "eggy" flavor/scent. I'm so happy with this salt. I made French toast and used this salt, just a pinch. It was Wonderful! An omelet or scramble is the next thing on my list! I also make a chickpea salad (sort of a "fake" tuna/egg salad thing) and thought this salt would be good in it.... It was! I know many Indian recipes call for this salt also. I'm happy with my purchase & can't wait to try it in other dishes. I don't think its too salty and you only need a very small amount. This jar is 6 oz., which doesn't seem like much, but I'm sure it'll last a very long time ~ as in a couple of years! Good purchase.
