    Pretty good if a little cheesy

    Is this film great? no. Will it challenge thor or captain america? No. The budget is a lot lower and although it is cheesy that is to be expected, it is the best Samson film by a long shot, better than the original. 7 OUT OF 10 from me. Some awesome scenes.

    Whist the film was generally faithful to the Biblical text, it took an interesting line in the attitude shown by Samson towards what was happening to him by giving a more sympathetic view of his motives.As a result the story came across as being that of a hero who was misunderstood rather than a selfish rebel who ignores God in his life until he finds redemption from God prior to his death.
