This is not the Cool Foam version pictured, it’s the Full Foam version. Amazon sells the full foam version (currently unavailable) and the pic clearly shows full foam. The Cool Foam is exactly what I wanted and the price IS the lowest I found. Had to order from different site paying $13 more per brace.I really do like this brace though. I have one from a previous injury and was going to use the two I ordered to go into the pool while one dries out between wears.PROS: It’s light, very easy to put on and supportive (no bend). I like that it doesn’t ride too high on the thigh and is comfortable for some types of sitting. CONS: migrates down the leg since this isn’t any anti-migration technology in pads. Velcro straps aren’t replaceable. Uses Velcro as the binding versus a buckle & Velcro which extends the life of the brace.Without a buckle or the ability replace the straps, the Velcro breaks down where the hook & loop meet the most leading to the straps coming undone a little to easy and leaving the feeling that things aren’t as secure as they should be. Especially since this brace is supposed to prevent any ROM.Again, I like this brace a lot, but after having other high quality braces, I now know what are some of the things to lookout for. My suggestion, is at the price, by a couple of you have to be immobilized for any length of time.
