Long story short: The driver’s side headlight on my 2012 Kia Sorento had failed. I originally thought that it was a blown headlight, but later discovered that one of the wires on the headlight pigtail was loose. The dealership tried to sell me on the idea that the entire wiring assembly may be faulty. I was looking at nearly $300 for parts; plus labor. After conducting research on the internet, I discovered that the problem could be resolved by simply replacing the pigtail.
