### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Effective Standardized Test Prep

I have used the Spectrum Test Practice for Grade 8 with great success. I, therefore, had no hesitation when it came to purchasing this one for grade 4. I teach English only, so I distribute the math, science, social studies, and reading practice tests portions of these books to my respective associates. All practice tests are reproducible and closely resemble the standardized Iowa Test of Basic Skills in both format and bubbling requirements: It's excellent practice for students. Reading, language arts, math, science, and social studies practice tests are all included in this book. Each section covers the various aspects of each of these subjects--and reminders (such as "remember to look for correct capitalization and punctuation") are given to reinforce teaching. I use these practice tests throughout the school year; therefore, when standardized test time rolls around, my students are relaxed, confident, and familiar with the format. They score very well--some of them even scoring off the charts. The Spectrum Test Practice books are unquestionably money well spent.

Wonderful way to prep for a standardized test.We homeschool and have used the Spectrum tests for the last 4 years and I feel that it has more than prepared my child for the test. Last year, her comment to me when she left the exam was that the Spectrum test was perfect because she felt so prepared and was not at all nervous.I would recommend this product to any moms out there that want to give their child a preview of what they will seeing on a standardized exam.If you are looking for a way to help your child prepare, this product is a wonderful way for them to preview potential questions or possible range of subject matter.
