I like the book, like the erotica of the book but the character and the plot were confusing to me at times. I was upset with the way it ended but trying to come to terms with myself that books or movies should not always have that fairy tale ending. I understand that he has to expand his books but I found myself drifting from the book a few times. She kept rambling and I was even thinking "stop her from talking please". I know I lack World knowledge and I know EJD has to grow as an author but I just could not keep up or I just wasnt interested when there were talks of other countries and different languagues. There seems to be alot more of this from him lately, even from the books about Gideon (which I loved LOL).Overall I decided to give a 4 and not a 3 because I have love for EJD as a LIFE LONG FAN and I am not fooling anyone but myself because I will still buy anything that he puts out....NO MATTER WHATHey......was it just me or did any other women think to themselves, How is he portraying a women in this detail ?!!! I am not sure on how I feel about that. Would I rather hear a story like that from a female author or what? Not sure..... I know that art and a persons imagination is pushed out into their books but a part of me continues to ask that question. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Liked Immensely *by E***E on Reviewed in the United States on June 26, 2013* This is a character that I enjoyed thoroughly in "Pleasure" and truthfully didn't expect anything to be added to her storyline. I was appreciative to find this book and felt that it still read the same as the first despite the time gap in release dates. Now, I must say that I treasured the first more than this novel, but it is still a great read if you are a fan of Nia Simone Bijou. You are exposed to yet another aspect of her and how she interacts with the predominant lovers in her life which is much different than in "Pleasure". There was some places where she goes on inner dialogue tangents that could have been compressed or replaced with other scenes, but overall, I still felt a deep connection to the character as I read the novel and often found myself reading multiple chapters at a time until I reached the unfortunate end. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better than the first book!! *by G***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 24, 2013* I won't even spoil this book by giving to much information, but let me tell you straight-up if you though (PLEASURE book 1 on Nia) was the s*** you need to purchase this book and think again from the time I bought it I read it until the end 7-8 hours an I'm extremely fast reader, but damn I just wanted to slow down and take my time on some parts HOTTTTTTT!!!! I'm sorry Eric but this by far is your best novel it tops eery other book you have ever written, and I thank you graciously for not making this one boring as hell like you did Nia's short story into her past. I bought this book on eBook but I am most deff going to the book store to purchase a hardcover it jus deserves very much so to go on my shelf next to wonderful collectibles for other authors including your Gideon series and PLEASURE. ENJOUY EVERYONE!!
