Most houses have a 24VAC transformer installed....especially if there is central Air/heating. This is because the control system and thermostat run on 24VAC. Usually, they run a set of wires off of this transformer to power the door-bell (Chime) system. The location of this transformer is usually placed near the Air/Heating system...if not installed inside the unit itself. If needed, you can run a set of wires off this transformer and route it to the front door. **Q: Is this necessary to install for a ring doorbell pro?
