    Great book to learn.

Probably one of the best books on C# to learn with.  Goes into a lot of theory and shows best practices.  It can get pretty dry like other programming books.  This version now is a bit outdated.  While 95% of the concepts still apply, be sure to check out Microsoft's website for new things with .NET and ASP.

I would recommend this book to beginners in C#. It is extremely helpful with the beginning steps and concepts for programming. and since Visual C# studio 2010 is so powerful, there are nearly limitless things you can do. Take it for a spin. You wont be disappointed.
