I haven't been in school in 37 years, so I was so afraid of the GED test. This book changed all of that for me. Now I can fulfill my dream of going to college and earning a degree thanks to Kaplan producing this book. If you don't have a basic understanding of reading, science, math and social studies, I would suggest purchasing foundational books for grade school level to give you a basic understanding before beginning this book. This will be the best investment in your self and well worth every penny. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful book. Medical Record Technology school--altho. the best--did NOT teach us coding! Clinical practice experiences were less than helpful! We learned on the job in the1980s and 90s with those killer DRGs, and it was sink or swim! Wish I'd had such resources then! I'd never even heard of CPT before my 3rd and 4th jobs (in hospitals).
