They don't feel chalky, powdery, or uncomfortable to wear, I feel like I'm not wearing heavy eye makeup with this on. These are also HUGE and I can use the white and yellow as matte highlight colors and the darker browns to do my brows and maybe even contour my face if I'm in a crunch without being afraid of running out. It has a good mix of cool and warm colors and a good mix of light, midtone, and dark colors. You could complete an eye look (inner corner highlight, base, crease, brow highlight, liner) with just this palette which is extremely rare. I love the matte colors--they're pigmented, great quality, and have virtually no fallout. I think the shades would look good on any skin tone. The palette is about the size of a CD case and really thin, so it's great for travel. The mirror is a nice touch. The eyeshadow pans are large and I'm sure this product will last me a long, long time. My only complaint is that the white shadow included is too white; an ecru shade, or a creamier white, would have made this palette perfect. (It's so white, I can't use it under my browbone as a highlight). I have to reach for another off-white highlight shade when I use this palette, which is slightly annoying. Along with the 3 Naked palettes, this is an amazing addition to an eyeshadow collection.
