Q: hello. I am a Muslim meat producer. I am looking for a animal free casing. A vegetable casing? do you sell a vegetable casing.

They are composed of natural polysaccharides & water.

Q: How many casings are in the package?

It is a continuous casing you size your sausages has you like. Keep it moist and use a slower fill or it breaks. I did 6" links and got 25 with about half left over.

Q: Are you supposed to soak these before stuffing?

DO NOT SOAK PRIOR. Water will deteriorate the casing

Q: What are the casings made from?

Not sure, some vegetable protein. They cook up differently than natural casings.
