On a side note. Make sure you get the remote. The on device buttons are hard to use. **Q: Can an external surround sound system be hooked up and if so how? I'm running DVDs from my laptop through an hdmi.** A: That would depend on the outputs of your laptop and the inputs on your surround sound system (SSS) or audio video receiver (AVR)... not the projector. If your SSS/AVR receives HDMI input, simply plug the HDMI cable from your laptop's out into the in of the SSS/AVR, then run another HDMI cable from the SSS's/AVR's main monitor out to the in of the projector. If your SSS/AVR doesn't have an HDMI input, and if your laptop has surround sound analog outs, then simply plug analog cables from the laptop's analog outs to the SSS/AVR's analog ins (they would be colored lime green or red and white, orange, and black). If you use analog audio as the source for audio, you'll still need an HDMI cable running from your laptop to the projector to project the image. Sound will come out of the SSS/AVR. **Q: Does this unit have internal memory like the M115 and if so can I put a powerpoint presentation on it?** A: The m115 is the same except higher resolution and brighter lumens. You can put a PowerPoint presentation either by microsd or USB stick. It doesn't need a computer in other words. **Q: Can you connect a external speaker. I can't find a audio out or headphone jack** A: External speaker cannot be connected to the unit itself. However, you can connect the external speaker to the unit you connect to your projector if audio out is available.
