These kind of products can't take 100W **Q: How to hang this socket on the wall?** A: I tried using a string loop that I fastened from the ceiling to hang down and tie to the socket. I would buy the longer socket and cord next time. And one that came with hardware that made hanging easier, if not POSSIBLE. I still have all but one of these still in their packaging, and I bought them for Christmas. Not my finest purchase. The plug tines are made from shiny slick metal not brass as are most and they are about half the gauge of a normal UL approved set f tines. The result when plugging it in is it falls out of the socket. It is so loose that it rattles and you can hear the it hissing and popping till it makes connection. I ended up taping them to the surge protector. I can't see how they got approved for sale in the US. They are obviously made in a country that is not familiar with our plugs and sockets and does not use the electrical system that we use in the states.
