It removed all the discoloration and left a "very shiny" and polished brand new look behind. I was amazed. It does require some elbow grease though. The way to get around this is to cut a piece of a towel long ways say 6" wide and the entire length of the towel. Apply the product sparingly to the middle of the long towel strip. Wrap the towel around the pipes and pull back and forth. This eliminates most of the effort. After the polish dries a bit (a couple minutes) follow it with a clean dry microfiber polish rag to wipe the remaining residue off. Then you can use flannelette drill attachments to get in the hard to reach spots. I highly recommend this product to remove "any" discoloration including color from over heating including blue and yellow discoloration. WORKS GREAT!!!
