My favourite of the Corneille plays that I've read. Tells the classic tale of the Horatii brothers. Corneille's tragedy best read in the original French.

Diese Ausgabe des Dramas "Horace" entspricht dem Original von 1640 und ist dementsprechend auch auf Französisch. Es scheint sich hierbei um eine Ausgabe für Abiturienten in Frankreich zu handeln. Es werden viele nützliche Informationen über den Autor, seine Zeit und die Relevanz des Stückes heutzutage gegeben. Im Anhang sind einige Tipps und Tricks zur Analyse. Diese sind entsprechend der gesamten Aufmachung des Buches auf Schülerniveau, aber trotzdem hilfreich zum Einstieg. Es wird auch Sekundärliteratur angegeben. Der Text ist mit Anmerkungen zur Sprache versehen, so dass es gerade für Nicht-Muttersprachler einfacher ist, das Werk zu lesen. Im Ganzen eine sehr empfehlenswerte Ausgabe, wenn man damit leben kann, dass alles, auch Analysen und Hintergrundtexte, auf Französisch verfasst ist.

Il y a à de nombreuses pages, des passages où les mots sont mélangés. Il manque souvent des espaces ou des traits d'union. J'ai lu plusieurs livres de George Sand sans aucun problème mais celui-ci est raté pour la liseuse Kindle.
