Nowadays most micr scanners are supplemented with optical character recognition tech, however to ensure universal acceptance micr toner should be used when printing the micr digits **Q: Theres only one preferated cut right?** A: No there's 2. 1 for the check and the space below allows for 2check subs **Q: Is this 24lb check paper or heavier pls? But slightly shorter than traditional. *by A***Y on June 26, 2025* Not much to say these are exactly what they say they are. They work fine. I’ve printed some very high dollar checks on them some over $10,000 in the banks have never questioned them. I will note that the print area is a little bit shorter than a traditional check mostly because of the border so if you’re using a check print program or if you’ve got a template set up in something like word, you may have to adjust it a little bit in order to get everything lined up just right but other than that, they work just like you’d expect. One other thing of note, however there is one check per sheet, so it’s basically set up for a single check and then a receipt and a some sort of memo area but you’re not going to get three checks per sheet. Keep that in mind when you’re trying to figure out costs per check..
