Millions of taxi drivers can't be wrong, right? So I thought I'd give it a try. Summers in Inland California get quite hot and the seat starts sticking... monkey butt happens and it's just not pleasant. The beads are about an inch tall, so if height matters this may concern you. I was flat-footed on my bike but with the beads I'm on tip toe but it's not bad.I got this in August, just in time for the late hot weather. It worked great! My battery is directly under me so the heat gets quite hot. The circulated cooler air kept me quite comfortable. I ended up taking a road trip to Utah, and it rained the entire trip. The battery was still hot under me but it warmed the circulating air up as well as the beads so I had a nice warm and comfy ride... along with my heated handgrips. My friends were freezing - we rode through rain, sleet and hail.
