I've worked with fiberglass many times, but this one made my skin itchy and its fibers seem to fly EVERYWHERE during the installation, getting on your face, hands, neck, etc.. Some of it got into my eye and my eye is still red and swollen after few days already.DEFINITELY wear some eye and skin protection while installing this ### ⭐⭐ Affordable but challenging with LED bulb *by W***N on Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2023* The cost is attractive but do your homework before buying. The globe has a narrow neck that may not fit around most LED bulbs. I learned that most LED bulbs have fine print about needing non enclosed fixtures to radiate heat. The bulbs that fit into the globe would soon overheat and turn off. The fixture is affordable but limited with some bulb sizes and technology if heat venting is necessary. The only work around is to leave the globe off so the brighter and larger LED bulbs can breath/radiate heat. This was experienced during colder January temperatures in the home kitchen with a nearby window. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lights are lights, and this does it well with the style we were looking for *by C***C on Reviewed in the United States on February 20, 2019* Simple but beautiful design for this nickel light. I bought two and placed them in or hallway by our upstairs bedrooms, one at each end. The light emitted is sufficient, but I'm using 60 watt equivalent LED bulbs. Really, no qualms with this purchase, but maybe there's an issue with my wiring as the farther light turns on a few milliseconds after the initial light, maybe just noticeable to me but that's because I like looking for potential issues. That 'problematic' light's position is new, as is the hallway, so I'm leaning toward user error, not product. I did need to buy longer mounting machine screws to make this work, FYI. Also, these were used ceiling mount in our home, thought they seen like they would have worked with a wall mounted position.I am by no means an electrician; I am an amateur remodeler who, when needing, will check YouTube and other various internet received for ideas and instruction, as of a year ago and our first home purchase.
