    Excellent Filter Provides Great-Tasting Water

I could really tell the difference between this filter and it's cheaper cousin, the R-2C. This filter not only filters out more impurities than its less-robust cousin but it produces water that tastes like fresh spring water. (Well, the way fresh, spring water used to taste, anyway.)  :)  I considered knocking a star off because of its price but you still save money over buying spring water from the store. So, I kept it at 5. You definitely pay for 5-star quality but, in this case, it is worth it.

    Replacement filter does not work and no reply from manufacturer

This replacement filter does not filter chlorine at all.  Used an aquarium chlorine test kit to test this filter and found that it is not working.  Contacted instapure support email to feedback on this thinking that it could be a faulty unit, but did not get any response.Anyway, it is a big concern to me if the unit does not work as advertised or this unit fail QA.  How many people have chlorine test kits at home to verify the claim.  I would have been drinking chlorine water thinking it would have been removed by the filter.  Will not recommend it unless quality is improved.
