The item is described as “espresso” in color but, as you can see by my photos, it is not. Looks more like a dark cherrywood or something similar but, not espresso. I placed it on top of my espresso tv stand and you can really see the difference. I was really looking forward to having this set in my home unfortunately, I now have to return it because it is much lighter than my other espresso furniture pieces.
