I have searched subsequently and eventually found them and delighted to discover they do the same effective job of yesteryear. The older versions were more sturdy being of slightly thicker steel and for this these earn 3 stars. I have left these outside in action in and with the sea close by I will be able to comment on their durability and update their sturdiness in due course. Certainly these are value for money. The spring steel means that they hold tight while accommodating any slight variations in the table thickness or your table cloth, etc. You get six in a pack (I probably could have done with 4, but nice to have the extra two - either for the middle of the table or for things like attaching a garbage bag to the end of the table).
