It charges and that's about it. It will not SYNC to USB, system states "Unsupported Device". I figured since the cable was "Apple certified" it would work. This did not work for my intended use. There are cheaper cables if I just wanted to charge my phone.I'm not placing blame, just stating a fact. It is a well made heavy duty cable, seems much sturdier than an Apple cable. I travel for work and can see this becoming a road warrior travel accessory due to its sturdiness. Description states "tangle free" which is true. However, be careful winding the cable up and around itself, the cable does bend and will deform slightly.
