Seems of good quality. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good, Solid Hickory hammer shaft *by J***S on 28 April 2024* The Draper Hickory hammer shafts were free of defects and with a bit of shaping were fitted to the hammer heads (8 & 10oz cross pein heads) perfectly. As purely a personal opinion, I roughly trim the head of the shaft down to create a very tight interference fit on the head of each hammer, then sand down the shafts to remove any coatings before soaking them in linseed oil for about a week prior to fitting them in the head of each hammer.
