The router base (plastic piece) broke 6 days after it was delivered, but Dewalt, with no questions asked, sent out a replacement part immediately. Even with the minor hiccup, I am truly happy with the router and recommend it knowing that Dewalt stands behind their products 100%. You may pay a little more for a Dewalt vs. a cheaper model, but I don't think you will find better customer service if something inadvertently breaks.
