The cuts were straight cuts, but lots of them and they needed to be precise. In the past, I always rented a wet saw from a tool rental facility for about $200 for a half-day, including gas both ways. This saw blade worked great in a 7" Skil circular saw. I was expecting to slowly chew through the stone pavers, but the saw zipped right through the material. I worked dry and there was a dense cloud of dust. Wear goggles and a dust mask! If you can work wet, do so. I am so happy with the result. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Definitely worth the price! I laid a brick path in my yard using 650 bricks, and I had to cut about 40 bricks on one edge of the path to fit within the its boundaries. The bricks I used were made of concrete and we're a little under 2.5 inches thick. The blade is so sharp and durable that it felt like you were cutting wood. I marked the bricks with a pencil after measuring each space, and I cut them freehand using my 7 1/4 circular saw. I did not use water, but cut them dry. I used protective goggles, gloves, a facemask and a steady hand to do the job. The blade could easily cut another 50 bricks without needing to be replaced. It was as sharp on the first cut as it was on the last. I highly recommend this blade for cutting masonry. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Not good for tiles; otherwise good blade *by H***R on Reviewed in the United States on October 12, 2019* This blade did not work out for cutting tiles. The cuts come out way too wide, losing a good 1/4" of the tile. Also even tho the hole is the middle is the correct arbor size for my skilsaw, I really have to push it on there whereas my other blades fit easily. The blade certainly cut right thru very easily and I'm sure this is a very good blade and I will keep it for probable need in the future but I would not recommend for tile cutting. I was having mega problems with the normal tile cutter for a very odd shaped tile I am working with which is the only reason I thought I would give a circular saw a try .
