Works great out at the barn. Last all night during the summer, and half the night during the winter.

Pretty good light with real output that matches what it claims.Informal testing shows this is more powerful than many solar LED lights. Output is at least 200 lumens and is the first one I found that's quite useful and does what it claims. I can shine it 30 feet up into the tree's around the house and it gives them all a nice glow or it can light up the side of the house quite well.It's clearly a lot brighter than lower priced solar lights and it costs more too since it has a 7.2V, 2000mAH battery and the largest solar panel of any lights I've found under $70.Note the the 7.4V battery is not two 3.7V 18650 cells in series as you might expect. It's a single, dedicated square pack 7.2V 2000mAH battery sealed in the back of the solar panel with a rubber type seal. I'd prefer they had used 18650 batteries instead which are easier to find later when it needs to be replaced but at least it can be unplugged and replaced. So it should be ok.Here is a photo comparing 8 different LED lights at night.This was taken after a full day of sunshine, 1 hour after dark using a Canon S110 camera on a tripod.I know this test is not super accurate but each light had the same conditions so it's a pretty good comparison.I couldn't find any reviews that showed more than 1 light at a time so I spent an hour to make this composite photo.Exposure: 1 secondAperture: f2.0ISO: 100 and white balance on auto.You can see how some different lights compared.

After buying one I purchased another because it was so good. One I use to light up a 4X4 sign and the other I use to light up our American flag which is up 24/7. Even on cloudy days it is bright and stays on easily for 12 hours.

I’ve had this light well over a year and it is still working perfectly. Highly recommend as I will purchase more. I have a hunting lodge deep in woods and this is our source of light for barn area. Perfect and just right on amount light required

The unit worked since day one. I installed on a 12 ft pole but light is not sufficient for a medium to large area. This unit would work great for spot area such as a basketball pole or a flag pole. Now I must warn all that mounting brackets are hard to install due to nut and bolt position. I don't undesrtand how the engineers are able to create a light that lasts 8+ hrs. But just can't cut small openings to install nuts on bolts. I had my 4 year old help me with this. I hope all of you have small fingers or you will find yourself super frustrated as I was. I do recommend their larger unit for large areas as it did a great job on my driveway. (Max 30 feet of good light on a total darkness area mounted on 12 feet pole).

This is a different light in 2019 than I bought in 2017. All the good reviews are from the old version of the light.This new light is not as good and it will be returning it. The old light was so nice, it is a shame.It is also not right for them to use the old 5 star reviews on a completly different product.-The remote only works close to the light (about 6 feet at the most)-Super confusing poorly Chinese translated instructions. About modes, and microwave radar sensors.-Light only stays on for 2 hours, then goes off. (The original light stayed on all night)-both the light and the solar panal are smaller than the original, way smaller than they show in the ad.-you can't change the battery. After it fails your have to throw it all away.

I use 3 units to highlight shrub and tree area about 45 feet long. Lights, rated at 400 lumens, are located about 10 feet away from said shrubs and provide right amount of illumination without being overly bright. I also tested Micro Solar's 500 lumen light which was too bright for the above application. However, I am using 500 lumen lights in another area to illuminate garden arrangements located 40-50 feet away. Both 400 and 500 lumen lights survived a number of heavy rains plus one hurricane without leaking. I hope that will continue. Given recent hurricanes the attachment hardware for solar panels should be made stronger so it can survive 100-120mph wind gusts (I took the solar panels down before the recent hurricane in Florida). In my applications, the position of all solar panels is fixed and all panels have unobstructed southern exposure from 9:30 am to 5pm. All lights come on at 8pm and turn off about 6:45 so I am getting dusk to dawn illumination In mid- October. This may change as days grow shorter. I cerainly will find out how much headroom (extra power needed to compensate for shorter days, Nov- Mar) MicroSolar built into the system.

Verified PurchaseI have a very dark backyard and I recently installed motion detector lights but I decided I wanted lights on all night long. The motion detector lights when set on the "on" position only last around 1/2 hour. The amazing thing about this light is that it pretty much stays on all night! I put the solar panel on my roof which gets sun a few hours a day, and I bought the extention wire from Amazon to give me about a combined 30 feet of cable. I then hung the light on a tree and ran the cable down from the solar panel to the light. The picture I took is from my 2nd floor and the light has been on for about 8 hours.I love being able to put the solar panel as far as necessary for it to get good sunlight, and I'm blown away that such a bright light is able to last for so long. I purchased a 2nd one to put on the other side of the yard. Eventually I plan on installing electrical connected lights, but for now, this is a winner. The light output is bright and impressive.
