Easy to apply and stays put
I used this to edge a chess board I made from plywood. It was easy to iron on (used a Cricut mini press), it seems to be staying where I put it, and it really makes the board look finished.

I don't think this is what the manufacturer had in mind...
I didn't use this for any furniture or marquetry project. I am working on a highly detailed and period-perfect dollhouse. I couldn't find any flooring that suited and looked perfect. I'm not one of those lolly-stick floor miniaturists. It had to be perfect. This stuff is perfect. I can cut it easily, fit it around room elements like hearths and stairways. It's the right colour. It's thin, so it doesn't add bulk, and because of being a stickler for scale, I didn't want anything bulky. (so no lolly-sticks). It irons down with a clover tool just perfectly, and because it's real wood, I can distress it to suit. THANK YOU!

OK for the price, but quite thin, and in my view, the roll had too many zigzagg splices
I needed this for a miniature project that required me to remove the glue and use small pieces of the wood veneer. I use veneer "edging" rolls because so far, I'm working in such a very small size/scale that buying a large sheet of veneer would be many times more than I could use, and that's just wasteful (as well as needlessly expensive).Anyway, the splices were a significant annoyance in that process, because the roll has to be soaked for a day or so in Ethanol (I use denatured because it's cheaper than pure ethanol) and then the glue scraped off.I did not use this edge banding as intended, so I can't comment on how well the glue might or might not work; what I *can* say is that I found it to be very strange in that it didn't become at all flexible after soaking - it did become easier to remove from the paper backing between the glue strip and the veneer, but rather than coming up in a ribbon, it broke off, like peanut brittle, and took a *long* time to strip off. With other veneer, I used a single-edge razor blade to peel-off the soaked glue, but to strip this, I had to use a hobby knife and find the best angle to chip it off without snagging the veneer itself. I also found the veneer to be quite thin, which made it splinter fairly easily.I did finally succeed in removing all of the glue. The veneer broke apart at the splices, which I had to trim off because I can't use them. They seems to occur at around every 5' to 7'.All in all, I WAS able to make this work out for my use.

Excellent wood finish but too much glue
Good wood finish but the gum used is a little heavy gauge. You'll get a lot oozing off but hey you should sand it anyway. Overall decent experience

Amazing! Super Easy to Use
My partner and I run a vintage furniture shop and love using this walnut edge veneer. Great for mid-century modern pieces. It's super easy to use and adheres quickly to the wood surface. Will definitely be buying more!

Great product for a great price
Overall the edge banding is really good and great value for the money. I've order walnut edge banding multiple times. I've noticed the number of splices in the edge banding can vary somewhat significantly but the splices are done well and hard to notice once applied.
