I watched Martha on screen way back when this season (UK5) was airing. She brought such a sweet, kind and youthful style to the show, and her baking! She was genuinely like sunshine in the Baker’s tent; my little girl and I loved watching Martha and the others from season 5. It was one of those great seasons for me, along with Season 8 & 9. I have both of her books, and I like this one best of the 2. My cookbook collection is vast, but my absolute favorite chefs and bakers cookbooks also get a kindle copy, as a stored backup. I like that I can access any cookbook, even if I’m not at home. I recommend both/either the print edition and the kindle, though the print edition shows off the sweet illustrations and images best. I mostly buy kindle books to save me some shelf space, and for a digital back up copy of my favorite hardcopy books. I highly recommend Martha’s cookbooks, as well as Giusseppe’s, Louis Troyano (RIP), Chetna Makan, Peter Bakes, Manon Legreve, Michelle-Evans-Fecci (gorgeous book), Steph Blackwell and many more. There are others whom I wished would have written cookbooks themselves; time will tell 😊.

Love how the chapters are organized, photography is great, and recipes are exciting. Martha is one of my favorite characters and I was so happy to see she published baking books!

I received my copy today and just made the Whiskey and Rye Chocolate Chip Cookies...that recipe is worth the purchase alone!!!!!!

Wonderful baking cookbook. I bought this for my daughter and she absolutely loves it and has baked several things out of it already. I may need to step up my exercise program!

A beautifully written book with yummy, clearly written recipes. She also clearly explains the baking science behind many of the recipes, which I really appreciate. This book is a great buy!!

I was beyond excited for this book they layout is beautiful and was fun to read. However, the condition of the book was not new - the front cover had several breaks and gouges. The spine of the book was also damaged. I'm not returning it due to wanting a messy cookbook for the kids to learn from.

This is a great baking book, so many appealing recipes. So far I've made the Gin and Tonic Lime Pie, Lemon and Poppyseed Pancakes, Mississippi Mud Pie, Cherry Cheesecake Brownies and Espresso Martini Cheesecake and they've all been hits. Martha's recipes are easy to follow, interesting and crowd pleasing. Can't recommend highly enough, thanks Martha

We were lucky enough to get a signed copy of this wonderful book from Martha herself, and when lockdown came we bought a copy for my daughter's friend so they could bake along together over zoom. This is not a kids cookbook, but as Martha was the youngest every bake off contestant she does inspire the next generation of bakers - so my 10 year old daughter has loved creating these recipes to be just like Martha.

This is a brilliant baking book with lots of original recipes (but none unfamiliar) and written so brilliantly that even the least able baker can use it. I suggest everyone gets this book simply for the genius idea of the simple to make doughnut-muffins.
