I have super long, thick hair and I wear my hair up all of the time. I don’t like how tight I have to wear regular hair ties to keep my hair from slipping. These stay in my hair all day and don’t feel too tight. Regular hair ties also only last me about 2 uses before they get stretched out or break. These hair bands usually last me a couple months (or until I lose it).

I also have thick heavy hair and nothing ever held it up all day. Buns were impossible without using multiple hair devices and all of the elastics I tried would stretch and break quickly. I ordered 1 set of 8 Burleybands almost 2 years ago. They are all still intact. There are a couple I've barely used because the ones I used first are holding up so well. The used ones have stretched a bit but still keep my bun in place. I wear a Burleyband daily and even swim in them in the summer. These things are well worth the money.

I'm so stoked on these hair ties and so grateful I found them and took a chance on pricey ties! I have very straight hair, every few months I get my hair thinned out with a trim otherwise it's too heavy. I have to have my hair out and away from my face for work (healthcare). Over the years I've tried so many hair ties and nothing stays in place, they all slip down quickly, if they're grippy they break your hair (was called out by my hair stylist on that one!) Or as you've probably experienced, they hold maybe for a day and then become so stretched out they're worthless.All this to say, I've tried it all in my 20+yr search. Anyway, these hair ties are magic. If I could compare them to anything it would be as if it were a portion of a compression sock? They're wide but roll up on itself. Once you put it in place it does.not.move. I have to admit, there's a learning curve to a hair tie that doesn't budge and took me a day or two to get my hair looking good pulled back securely. I've used this purposefully for at least 2 weeks consistently to give an honest review on durability. So far there has been NO wearing out of the one hair tie I've used all this time. Not stretched out at all. There's only 3 included but these will LAST, I can tell. Also somehow there's no crease left in your hair after extended time in. Magic, I tell you!If you're struggling with thick hair and needing something to actually last and hold, I promise you these are worth it.

Holds thick or long hair up like a scrunchie but is not bulky. Like a scrunchie and hair band combined. Really tight feeling at first but does not pull on the hair. Little on the expensive side (for me) but if they hold up in durability as well as keep my hair together I will most likely purchase again

I snorkeled 2-3 hours a day for 2 weeks with these hair bands. They stayed secure, even when wet and salty.

It doesn't wrap around my thick mop more than two times. So doesn't secure the pony tail.

I've been struggling to find proper hair ties almost my whole life. These ones surprised me so much! They are strong and hold my hair so nicely, and I have long, thick and coarse hair. I'm pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend them. Super happy, thank you!

I wanted to use these for a few weeks to develop a honest opinion and now I can say with 100% certainty that I love these elastics. I have incredibly thick hair and have never been able to find a decent hair elastic until now. I like to do a high pony and in the past have had to use multiple normal elastics to get it tight enough that it won’t slip down my head. One burly band does a high pony no problem and stays in place for a full 12 hour labour intensive shift. The elastic is tight to get on but I don’t mind because it doesn’t budge. Very happy with this hair elastic and will be recommending it to all my thick haired friends!

I've tried many other hair bands over the years and they just can't hold my very thick hair - they usually stretch out and break.These are absolutely amazing at keeping my hair up in a polytail or bun - I've been using them for 10 months now, and still going strong!Well worth the money!

These hair ties are great. They do not pull and keep a ponytail in place.

Great for high ponytails. I have thin hair but a lot of it and I like wearing my hair in a ponytail at work and in hot weather. These do a great job of keeping my hair up and looking full. Haven't had them for very long so I hope they don't stretch out but so far so good!
