Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor, Medically Accurate Upper Arm Cuff

I bought this a few months back to start checking it against 2 older wrist monitors that I had because even though the 2 wrist monitors have proven themselves accurate thru the years I have taken blood pressure medicine for about 20 years and I had always wanted to try an upper arm monitor like this one. It works perfectly. I have been using it for a few months and testing it against my others ones & it's accuracy is on par with the others. It easy to operate and the screen is easy to read. It's quiet and easy to use. One thing I had to get used to was putting the arm cuff on and getting is situated right but with practice it became second nature. I decided to leave this review now and right before leaving it I took a reading from one of my wrist monitors, then this amazon arm monitor and then my other wrist monitor so you could see that in almost exactly the same non stressful position and time in the evening we could compare the accuracy. I waited 30 minutes between readings. At 9pm the reading on my omron wrist monitor was 120/75(73), at 930pm the reading on the amazon arm monitor was 123/73(69) and at 10pm the reading on my healthsmart wrist monitor was 124/78(71). The number is parenthesis is my pulse. So as you can see no issues and I trust this amazon monitor 100 percent. Incidentally the omron wrist monitor was tested in my doctor's office a few years ago and it was good to go. So I hope this helps someone looking for an inexpensive no frills blood pressure monitor.

easy to use and good readings

Buen producto...indispensable

I am a healthcare provider, so I have been let down with other blood pressure machines that gave me inconsistent readings from patient to patient, but this product has delivered better than expected for the price point. The only times that I have received bad readings were when the cuff was too tight or patient's arm was outside of the normal cuff size range.

Works great, fast service

This is highly accurate (brought to my doctor’s office on last check-up). A great price for a really good cuff-style (they’re the most consistent/ accurate) monitor.

The ERR is shown frequently during the test, about 3-4 times per 10 times. I have to adjust the arm cuff by moving up and down, or turn around a little, and retry, at some who-knows point, it suddenly works. This is the only monitor I have, I am not sure if it is accurate, but the result seems close to the number I got in the doctor office.
