Cheap plastic!
Not used everyday and worked quite well, until all of a sudden it snapped in half. Kept in garage and not in sun. Just cheap!

Poor build quality
Poor build quality. Pole broke after a year. Customer service, if you’re reading this, please send me a replacement to honor your lifetime warranty!

Pleasantly surprised
The media could not be loaded. The negative reviews on this rake had me second guessing, but I was impressed with how well it worked! We have redwood tree droppings all over a putting green and bocce court. This rake made it so easy to clean the mess up. I am not sure how durable the rake is and long lasting, but it will save me lots of time cleaning up the mess in the backyard.

Overpriced, poor quality, easily comes apart when used
This was built to ship not to effectively clean up your turf. It’s easy to assemble and lightweight. Benefits stop there. As expected, it comes in segments to make it easier for the company to ship. Unfortunately those parts do not lock together. Once you begin to actually rake, the parts will loosen and slip apart. For $40, this is unacceptable. On top of that, it failed to rake up anything stuck in the turf.

Works for artificial turf but not ergonomic
The bristle type and length works well for artificial turf. The product is light and easy to brush along the grass. The huge issue is that it is very short! I am 5ft 1 inch tall and I still have to hunch over to use. I would need at least 3 more inches to the length for it to be minimally ergonomic. I am using this for a small dog run area and only need to use for about 6 mins at a time. I would not purchase this for larger areas that require more time or for an individual that is tall. I honestly think this item is overpriced. For context, I am 31 years old and do indoor cycle or light yoga 4x weekly and in normal shape (105lb), and using this did not make my back feel great due to having to hunch over. I have to make sure to properly stretch after using the rake each time, which is not sustainable. Debating whether to return because I cannot find any artificial turf rakes on Amazon will a lot of good reviews.

Looking for a rake for artificial turf? Look no further!
This is exactly what I was looking for. Last year I bought another rake for artificial turf and the handle broke within a few days. I purchased this rake and it is like night and day when comparing the quality to my prior rake. This rake is durable and excellent quality! Not to mention it rakes so much better! The price is great for an artificial turf rake. Don't make the mistake of settling for a cheaper one like I did the first time.

It’s ok 👍🏼
The media could not be loaded. Edit: after I wrote my review, the rake, something snapped inside, and it would not hold the rake to its full capacity so I ended up having to use gorilla glue to prevent it from going back inside the tube and making it 2 feet tall. I wouldn’t buy this product if I were you I’m not able to send it back, unfortunately so it was quite a waste of money. It’s flimsy and even if it doesn’t break, there’s a mechanism inside that will break and prevent you from keeping the rake from extending.I have to tend to agree with some of the other reviewers about the delicacy of this piece. I am 5 foot four and don’t usually do the backyard work my husband does and he’s 6 foot four. We can’t seem to lengthen it and it is flimsy but for me if you stroke your turf gently and don’t put too much pressure on it, you should be OK keeping that in mind. The leaves do go flying when you press harder to try and get your work done. you know but again so far so good in the event though. It breaks after I have done this review and we still can’t seem to find a way to lengthen it for my husband will modify it with a real wooden handle that would fit my husband better. Edit: OK I’ve had a chance to use this on my large turf backyard and it’s taking me forever to even pick up any little bit of leaf so I am going to say this is not the best product. I would probably use my shop vac and suck up the lease next time. Leaf blower does a better job. So I guess it all depends on how large your backyard is ours isn’t that big but large enough that it took me nearly half a day just to get part of the lawn done and then I took the blower out. I blew it all to the corner. It’s too much work. It’s too hard and your device is too flimsy, so if you had wooden sticks instead of plastic, I think it would’ve been a better product and plus I can’t get it past a certain length. Therefore, my husband doesn’t use it at all. I feel very sad that I bought this.

Works great!
Yes, the handle could be longer. We live on a golf course. Our yard is surrounded by Palo Verde trees. As you can see in the picture they shed little sticks/branches and in the spring little yellow blooms. It’s like yellow snow for several months. This rake works very well at moving the little sticks and blooms into a pile for removal. As far as people breaking the rakes handle…. If you over power the nylon bristles (push too hard) the handle will break. Pressing to hard ultimately defeats the purpose of the non destructive nylon bristles.
