Excellent for the price
In the past, I have spent more on digital callipers which were poorer quality than these. A proper vernier like this one never has flat batteries. There is a pleasing mystique in knowing how to measure accurately to a fraction of a millimetre by reading the vernier scale. These callipers read 0 mm when closed (so they zero correctly) and they move smoothly. They have a reassuring solidity. They come in a reasonably protective plastic case, with a bonus steel rule. Far easier to read than the cheap vernier I've had for many years, and far more reliable than the expensive digital ones I've thrown away. Pleased with my purchase.

Does the job for hobby use
I have two digital calipers which agree on the readings with this item to within 0.05mm. So it's not the 0.02mm accuracy it promises, but good enough for hobby use in the 3D printing context. The main advantage is these do not need batteries, and are more convenient to use. The jaws aren't perfectly aligned at the opening side, which is maybe why the accuracy is affected. Might not be good enough for machining work if you need very tight tolerances. But that's what a micrometer is for anyway. Overall reasonable value for money.

Good quality
Very good product for the money. I was concerned that the accuracy would be off, but turns out it is super precise and I have been able to maker some very precise fittings using this tool. A good purchase.

Precise, Sturdy, and Easy to Use!
Absolutely impressed with this caliper! The accuracy of 0.02mm/0.001" makes it perfect for DIY projects, household tasks, and even light industrial use. The build quality feels solid, and the measurements are consistent and reliable. The included storage case keeps it safe and protected when not in use. A must-have tool for anyone who needs precise measurements with ease.

When you need it to measure pipes etc, you need it!
Got this tool for a specific measuring task (Its one of those tools that as a standard DIYer, you only need very occasionally - but when you need it...!). Seems well made and accurate. I'll probably use it once a year at most, but its a useful thing for the toolbox.

Not bang on
Seems to be good quality, but not properly calibrated. The 0s don’t line up when the caliper is closed. There’s a tiny gap between the jaws at the end, maybe they’re not parallel, or not filed completely flat.
