I love it, very easy to use, plus the quality of espresso is great. Just make sure to not over pack the cup with coffee and do not pump fast. Take your time and just pump at a steady pace and rhythm.

It works perfect! The only downside is that while you pump the coffee the hot water gets cold, so the temperature of your coffee is not as hot as it is supposed to... at leaar I like mine very hot! Other than that I oove the fact that I can use either geound coffee or the expresso pods. I would recommend!

My original review, just a few months ago, is below. Recently, it stopped working with my ground coffee. Looking at each component, I am having a very hard time seeing what the issue is (nothing appears clogged or loose), but when I remove the top part after pumping the hot water through the chamber, water and grounds have just spilled into the cup below. I might try pods to see if they work, but I prefer not to use pods. It’s a shame because I enjoyed a really great cup of espresso/latte every day since purchasing this in May, and in such a short period of time, it’s now useless.Original review, May 2019: I surfed around online for quite some time, looking for just the right espresso maker, under $100. I’ve used a cheap Mr. Coffee (pressure-style) machine (AWFUL), and I’ve used AeroPress (also awful, but a teeny tiny bit better than Mr. Coffee). I’m environmentally conscious, so I definitely wanted something that gave me the option to use my own grounds. I’m not sure how I stumbled upon this hand pump espresso maker, but I was literally shocked that it produces a great-tasting shot of espresso. So easy to use, and so easy to clean. You can use k-cup style pods with this, but why produce more plastic that will wind up in the oceans? This espresso maker gets a huge thumbs up from me.

Love this little machine. Makes a delicious expresso.Update: Mine stopped working after a while, after tightening the top it has resumed working. Hope this can work for others.

This is my initial review. First impression I was thinking this was pretty neat. Glass cup wrapped in a silicone grip, modular sections, switches between nes pods and grinds, easy to clean and travel sized w/out relying on electric.However, good on paper, meh on practice. My first cup came out light. I had the meh smirk when I started pumping and saw light brown tinted water dripping out. My smile started turning upside down. That pretty much summed up the first cup. Coffee flavored water. (finer grind for reference) - maybe I'll try a courser grind next try.So I tried a ese pack....took slightly longer to pump through but I was hoping that was a good sign as it meant soaking through more flavor. Nope. Opened a pack and the grinds were just as fine.For the record, never tried a ness pod. I am underwhelmed at this point and am on the fence with returning this. I will update

Súper práctico

Little disappointed as description was not clear that had to use hot water to get hot coffee which is sometimes not possible travelling on road. Would have been better with having 12v to heat water on road. Will not buy again

Se debe bombear mucho, tanto con café en el contenedor, como con cápsula. Termo ando con el café frío y no saca toda el agua.

Bought this for my mom as a gift as she loves her coffee. The item itself is amazing, if you like strong coffee I wouldn't recommend the Nespresso Starbucks at all. Just use your own blend of expresso for this maker. The serving sizes are small ( as to be expected for expresso ).
