I Am Ali [DVD]

Excellent movie. Provides a view of Ali and some of his family, friends, and boxing opponents that I had never seen before. Provides context and helps to understand why Muhammad Ali was such a great man, and great American, with historical impact on the world and so many people. I especially liked the interview with George Foreman. I liked the movie so much I have ordered it on Blu Ray DVD so I can watch it again. Highly recommended.

this was the 1st of the many dvd memorabilia's I purchased, and watched since his passing; it was so inspiring a little sad, because he is no longer with us, but i am relieved that he recorded and filmed the memories for his family to share with us....... I am sure God is PLEASED with all of Muhammad Ali's good Deeds while he was here on Earth..... I'm So Proud to be a 60's baby and to have followed his career and life coming up! This was the best film YET!!! RIP TO ALI

Good Quality

I was never really a fan of boxing as I found it too violent, and I was born too late to really have seen any of Mohammad Ali's fights, I watched this out of curiosity, and my mind is blown. Ali was an amazing human being, he was so confident, yet humble, strong, yet kind. What really touched me was that he had principals and the fact that he refused to participate in war that was killing innocent civilians made me respect him all the more. The fact that he was prohibited from boxing for 4 years in the prime of his physical health, yet still achieved champion status is a testament to his character and confidence. This film made me cry. He was truly a gift. He made mistakes as we all have done, but demonstrated genuine remorse for them. He was a beautiful human. RIP Mr. Ali ❤️

I saw this when it was released in 2014. It is my FAVORITE Muhammad Ali documentary because it’s in his voice and from his family and friends perspectives. “I see God in his eyes”… the most touching and spot on description about Ali.Bought this for my husband fir Father’s Day who is from Louisville and he had never seen this one! If you love Ali, this should become one of your favorites. Perfect for all ages and a great teaching moment for the younger ones who know limited things about Ali.

Wonderful is the best description of this documentary. Ali's audio recordings to his children and friends, added to with interviews with two of his daughters, his son, brother, friends, third wife, opponents, etc. and rare footage make this a perfect addition to the collection of Ali fans!

Very powerful. Certainly very pro-Ali with little reflection on his shortcomings but a very worthwhile film.

I grew up watching boxing with my Grandfather approximately 55 years ago.Therefore this movie really hit home for me in terms of great memories with my grandfather.I highly recommend that anyone who loves boxing to purpose it.Five Stars
