These are nice bright bulbs and a very good size, but they are not flicker free. I wanted one for a microscope with a camera, where I really don't want any flicker at all, but these are worse than the bulb I want to replace. They will be useful in my sewing machine, where flicker is not so important.

Fitted as a direct replacement for a low-wattage tungsten-filament bulb in a sweing machine.Gives a great light (brighter than the old bulb it replaced) with none of the heat which that bulb gave off (given that you have your hands quite close to the bulb when sewing).Highly recommended.

Ideal for my little night light,I had tried looking for a bulb locally with a small bayonet fitting but none anywhere.

I'm now ordering my second replacement set. I use these in flea traps and they work well... when they work.Had one fail this week, just within warranty (but not by much). Amazon refunded. Sent back. No problem.I ordered another set. One of those bulbs in the new set has now lasted less than a day and is flickering so much it's impossible to look at it for more than a few seconds without getting eye fatigue.These are better than the incandescent bulbs Amazon sells, some of which had a lifetime of just a couple of hours, but I don't expect these to last very long either, it seems.

Very compact, nice and bright. Used it to replace a bulb in an old Christmas decoration. Works perfect.

Good bright bulbs, only lasted about a year.

Much brighter and whiter than the filament bulb it replaced.
